Candidates to speak at festive forum

The Meade County Democratic Party will hold a Cinco de Mayo Campaign Kickoff at the Armory Building in Sturgis from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 4. It includes Mexican food and a jumping castle and costs $15 per adult, $30 for the family.

Candidates expected to speak are Dennis Levin, Senate District 28; Fred McPherson and Pam Chalkley, House District 29; Nyla Griffith, Senate District 31; Kevin O'Dea, House District 31; Dennis Finch, Senate District 33; and Jeff Nelsen, Kim Henderson and Gary Loudner, House District 33.
