Youth & Family Services staff will frost, package and deliver about 7,200 Valentine's Day sugar cookies to donors on Tuesday and Wednesday.

YFS kitchen staff spent the past few weeks baking and freezing the cookies in preparation for the agency's annual gesture of thanks to large-sum contributors.

This is the 10th year YFS staff members have delivered the cookies. They said the 600-dozen cookies take 203 pounds of flour, 74 pounds of granulated sugar, 84 pounds of butter, and 28 dozen eggs.
