A building owned by Mike Krogman in northwest Haakon County burned to the ground about 1 p.m. Friday. Fire crews contained the fire before it reached a house nearby, according to assistant fire chief Roger Williams.

The cause of the fire is unknown, but Williams said he suspects the cause could be from downed power lines that were found near the building. Winds between 40 mph and 50 mph that fueled the fire also were a factor, Williams said.
