MITCHELL - Mitchell police are looking for the man who robbed the north branch of CorTrust Bank and made off with an undetermined amount of cash about 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
Authorities say the man had a black automatic handgun and should be considered dangerous.
He was described as white, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 170 pounds. He reportedly wore a baseball cap, a fake black beard, a red and black flannel shirt and blue jeans.
About the same time, a bomb threat was called in to the Wal-Mart store on the other side of town. No bomb was found, and authorites are not saying if they think the two incidents are connected.
