PUEBLO, Colo. - Services are scheduled Friday afternoon in Pueblo for a man killed in a collision with a semi-truck last weekend in Wyoming.
Sixty-seven-year-old Roland Ashton was driving to a second home in Whitewood, S.D., on Saturday when he struck a semi-truck loaded with frozen turkeys.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol says Ashton's vehicle drifted into the path of the semi on westbound U.S. 18/20 and the two vehicles hit head-on.
Ashton was ejected. The truck driver escaped with minor injuries.
Ashton was born in Denver.
He would have turned 68 on July 31.
