HAYTI - One of three children injured when a pickup truck hit their all-terrain vehicle near Hayti has died.

Two sisters ages 7 and 4 and their 2-year-old brother were on the four-wheel ATV when the accident happened late Tuesday forenoon. The 7-year-old who was driving later died. The other two children are hospitalized.

Hamlin County Sheriff Dan Mack said the ATV came out of a rural driveway onto the road. The 15-year-old who was driving the pickup was not hurt.
