One of the individuals involved in the burglary and vandalism of cabins near Pactola Reservoir was sentenced Tuesday.
Ryan Burkinshaw, 18, was sentenced to serve six months in Pennington County Jail, five years of probation and ordered to pay about $2,800 in restitution.
Mitchell Spindler and James Shackleton, both 18, also pleaded guilty Tuesday to felony damage to private property of less than $1,000, which carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison or a $20,000 fine.
Bond was revoked for Spindler and Shackleton, and they were remanded to Penington County Jail.
Two other juveniles involved in the burglary have been charged in juvenile court.
The five allegedly stole fishing equipment, wild game mounts and other items from cabins near Pactola Reservoir, and caused several thousand dollars in damage to the cabins.
Police said the burglaries occurred at four cabins along the same road southeast of Pactola Reservoir near Pactola Basin. Police documented two separate break-ins in February and March.
