Voters have chosen a new chairman for the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe. Brandon Sazue Sr. was picked in an election last week, defeating Duane Big Eagle, a former tribal chairman.

The election results were certified Saturday.

Sazue will be sworn in on May 6 for a two-year term, replacing Lester Thompson, who was eliminated in a March primary.
