Sommar Chaffee released on bond this morning
The former Hill City music teacher charged with solicitation and exploitation of a minor was arrested Saturday night in Sioux Falls and was released on bond early Sunday morning.
Sommar Chaffee, 31, of Hill City was arrested about 10 p.m. and was released on a $1,500 bond about 4:45 a.m., according to officials at the Minehaha County Jail.
Chaffee has been charged with solicitation of a minor, which allegedly happened April 1 and 14, 2009, and exploitation of a minor, allegedly between April 12 and 13, 2008.
If convicted, the charges, Class 6 felonies, carry a maximum sentence of two years in prison and a $4,000 fine for each count.
