SIOUX FALLS - Blizzard conditions could sock eastern South Dakota for a second straight weekend.
Mike Gillespie with the National Weather Service said the worst of the conditions are expected in the northeast, where a blizzard warning is in effect from early Saturday through Saturday night.
A blizzard watch is posted for an area from Chamberlain to Lake Andes and to Vermillion.
The east central, north central and remainder of the southeast are under a winter weather advisory Saturday.
Strong winds could create blizzard conditions and dangerous wind chills. The snow should end by Sunday, but the mercury will struggle to get above zero.
