Dan Griebenow was shot Dec. 9 in Colorado
A 24-year-old Rapid City man who was shot in the neck during a shooting rampage in Colorado last Sunday walked out of a Denver hospital on Thursday.
Friends of Dan Griebenow said he passed two swallowing tests and left Denver Health with a new skateboard in his hands.
His friends have been posting updates of Griebenow's recovery on the Facebook Web site. One friend wrote that after surgery, Griebenow said, "Bullets ain't got anything on me."
He was shot at an Arvada, Colo., youth ministry and was in intensive care part of the week.
Griebenow had surgery on Tuesday to remove the bullet.
He was working at the mission facility when he was shot by a man who had been told he couldn't spend the night there. Two other people were killed, and one other staffer was wounded.
