PIERRE - South Dakota Attorney General Larry Long says a Huron woman who murdered her young daughter in 1987 should never be released from prison.
Long told members of the state Parole Board on Wednesday that Debra Jenner "butchered" her 3-year-old and should have to spend the rest of her life behind bars.
Jenner told a sub-panel of the Parole Board that she would live with her son's in-laws in Pierre if released.
The inmate says she could possibly get a data entry job in the capital city.
The full board will decide Jenner's case Thursday.
