A teen from Caputa in central Pennington County was hurt when the tractor he was driving rolled about 11 a.m. Friday.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol said Paul Dustman, 18, was driving the John Deere pulling a New Holland rake west on Highway 44 and attempted to turn south on 161st Avenue. Witnesses said that Dustman was working to slow the farm equipment when the accident occurred.
The incident report indicates examiners at the scene considered his injuries minor. He was in fair condition - conscious but uncomfortable - at Rapid City Regional Hospital Friday evening.
The Pennington County Sheriff's Office and New Underwood Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
