One of two people charged with setting a fire that destroyed a house on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation will serve nearly four years in prison.
Dusty Oldson, 23, earlier pleaded guilty to arson in federal court for the Sept. 12, 2006, fire in the Northridge Housing area at Pine Ridge.
In addition to 46 months in custody, he'll be on supervised release for five years. He could have received up to life in prison.
His mother, Dwanna Oldson, has pleaded not guilty to arson.
Her trial has been delayed and is scheduled to start March 11 in federal court in Rapid City.
