The National Weather Service in South Dakota has issued a severe thunderstorm warning has been issued in central and western South Dakota until 3:15 a.m. this morning.

The storm is carrying quater size hail and winds up to 60 mph.

A wide band of thunderstorms moving at 37 mph are expected to move through Johnson Siding at 2:45 p.m., Rockerville and Mount Rushmore at 2:50 p.m., and along Insterstate 90 into Rapid City shortly thereafter.
