Instead of nine innings, Team USA and Black Hills Gold completed 7-1/2 innings, giving some local favorites a chance to hit against one of the world's best pitchers.
The final inning finished with Rapid City's own Brittney Garner getting to bat against Monica Abbott. Although she struck out, Garner drew cheers from the local crowd.
Team USA gets one more victory in the books before heading to the Olympics.
But the night isn't over for Team USA. They've agreed to sign autographs for fans and from the look of those lines in the outfield at Pete Lien Field, it may take them awhile.
