RAPID CITY - The Willie Nelson concert scheduled for Wednesday, July 18, at Rushmore Plaza Civic Center has been postponed and will be rescheduled in September, civic center officials said.

Steve Montgomery of the civic center said Nelson is in the process of rescheduling three weeks worth of concert events due to "exhaustion."

"We expect Rapid City to be rescheduled for late September," Montgomery said. "All tickets will be honored for the new show date."

Montgomery said civic center officials hoped to announce the new concert date within the next few days.
