Law enforcement officials are investigating the theft of an undisclosed amount of cash taken from the Chadron State College business office late Thursday or early Friday.
Campus officials closed the office Friday as police officers investigated.
The burglary occurred the same week payments were due from students for the fall semester. The payment deadline has been extended to Friday, Aug. 21.
