MOBRIDGE - More counterfeit money has shown up in South Dakota.
This time, at least three fake $20 bills were passed in the tiny town of McLaughlin.
McLaughlin Police Chief Graylen Mittleiter said the bills were passed at three different businesses in the north-central South Dakota community. The bills probably came from the same source as a bill that showed up at a Mobridge business earlier this week, he said.
Mittleiter said businesses that have special marking pens to help detect counterfeit bills should make sure they're using them.
