PIERRE - The state's emergency operations center in Pierre deactivated on Sunday.
The center opened last weekend after heavy rains and storms hit South Dakota.
Based on reports from local jurisdictions, needs have been met and affected counties are capable of reacting to ongoing flooding issues, said Brooke Bohnenkamp, spokeswoman for the state Department of Public Safety.
The state continues to work with the Federal Emergency Management Agency to explore potential federal aid programs that may be made available for storm recovery.
