PINE RIDGE - Red Cloud had too much on both ends on the floor for Hill City to deal with as the Crusaders dispatched the Rangers 70-30 in a non-conference matchup between the two District 15A foes.

Shaina Clifford had 18 points and six assists while Marquee Lunderman added 13 points and 10 assists for Red Cloud in the win.

Ida Clarke added 13 markers and Desirae Blacksmith chipped in with 11 for the winners.

Red Cloud used a pressure defense to keep Hill City from getting any kind of offense going as the Rangers struggled to put points on the board.

Hill City turned the ball over 31 times and made only 10 field goals in the game.

Steph Burleson scored six points and had seven rebounds to lead Hill City.

Hill City (3-14) travels to Belle Fourche on Thursday for a Black Hills Conference game with the Broncs.

Red Cloud (12-4) hosts Belle Fourche in non-conference girls action on Friday night.
