The 8th Annual Scoop Town Classic girls basketball tournament is set for Jan. 24-25 in Sturgis. The tournament is open to teams from grades 5 to 8. There is a three-game guarantee and the entry fee is $100 per team.

Rushmore Hockey to host weekend of games

The Rushmore Hockey Association will be hosting a full weekend of games at the Rushmore Thunderdome today and Sunday. The Rushmore Thunderdome is at 5611 Old Folsom Road, east of south Highway 79. Games will begin at 10:30 a.m. and go all day. Action starts at 8 a.m. on Sunday and goes until 1 p.m.
