RAPID CITY - Post 320 swept an American Legion baseball doubleheader with Sheridan, Wyo., on Tuesday, 10-0 and 4-0.

The first game ended in six innings while the nightcap went the distance, but Sheridan was unable to put any runs on the board in either game.

Brad Winkelman and Nate Jacobson combined for the shutout in the first game allowing just three hits while striking out 12.

The Stars grabbed a 2-0 lead after the first inning before putting the game away with a five-run sixth inning. Kyle Starkey was the only Stars' batter to collect more than one hit in the game as he had two of his team's eight base knocks including a double. Both Chris Bingham and Kyle Lewis drove in a pair of runs.

Starkey did not slow down in the second game collecting three more hits, driving in one and scoring a run. All three of Starkey's hits went for extra bases with a pair of doubles and a triple.

Aaron Corbett got the win for Post 320 allowing three hits - Sheridan's only hits in the game - over three innings and striking out one. Bryan Olsen worked the next two innings and struck out five batters.

The wins improved Post 320 to 9-4 on the season. The Stars will be on the road for an extended weekend tournament when it plays at the Willston Tournament beginning Thursday.
