The holidays are now over, the decorations have been put away and hopefully things are getting back to order.

The leagues will begin to bowl again after taking time off for Christmas and New Years Day, and it is time to set our sites on the upcoming tournaments.

Two tournaments that will be right around the corner are the City Association tournaments for adult men and women who are in good standing with the RCUSBC.

The men's city tournament is Jan. 26-27, Feb. 2-3 and Feb. 9-10. The tournament will be at Robbinsdale Lanes. Entry deadline for this tournament will be Jan. 20. Entry fee is $17.00 per bowler per event.

There are also optional events in this tournament, which are Scratch Team, Doubles and Singles, and All Events Scratch and Handicap. Participants entering the optional events must include optional fees. Shawn Nielsen is the chairperson of the tournament. The tournament schedule will be posted at all bowling centers by January 24.

The women's city tournament will follow the men, with their dates being Feb. 16-17, and Feb. 23-24. Entries will close on Feb. 9. This tournament will be at Meadowood Lanes. Entry fee is also $17 per bowler, per event.

There are optional events available with this tournament as well. They include Special Scratch, and All Events Scratch and Handicap. Participants entering the

optional events must include optional fees as well. Karla Richey is the chairperson for the tournament. The tournament schedule will be posted at all bowling centers by Feb. 13.
