This just might have been the "Year of the Sprinter" for high school girls in South Dakota.

Rapid City Central freshman Jasmyne King was one of the best as she has etched her name in the top 10 rankings, with still three years to go.

Unofficially, King is tied for sixth in the 100 with an :11.90 clocking, sixth in the 200 at :24.79 and fifth in the 400 at :56.31. She is also fourth all-time in the long jump (18-7.5).

Is it safe to say, the skies are the limit for King?
