RAPID CITY - Rapid City Central volleyball coach Leslie Weber submitted her resignation to the Rapid City school board in January.

The first-year head coach was not asked to resign, according to Central activities director Darren Paulson, and is still a teacher at South Middle School.

Weber, a native of Parkston, is a graduate of South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. She led the Cobblers to a 13-21 regular-season record last year.

The search for a replacement has begun, but no one has been hired. Interested applicants are encouraged to contact Rapid City Central.
