MITCHELL - Webster held off St. Thomas More to earn a 44-43 victory in girls basketball action at the Hanson Classic.

Webster led 12-8 after a quarter and 24-14 at halftime. The Bearcats continued lead 31-23 after three.

Codi Martin paced Webster with a game-high 21 points. Shandell Kennedy netted 12 and led the team with nine boards.

Caitlin Duffy scored 15 points to lead the Cavaliers.

Wall 54, Scotland 48

MITCHELL - Wall outscored Scotland 19-11 in the final quarter to earn a come from behind 54-48 win in girls basketball action at the Hanson Classic.

Katrina Kjerstad scored a game-high 15 points for the Eagles. Muriel Kjerstad added 11.

April Winne and Calsie Skorepa led Scotland with 13 points apiece.

Parkston 60, Sully Buttes 46

MITCHELL - No. 7-ranked Class A Parkston handed No. 1-ranked Class B Sully Buttes their first loss of the season in a 60-46 battle in the final game at the Hanson Classic.

The Chargers led 15-14 after the first, but the Trojans took a 29-22 lead at halftime. Parkston led 40-37 after three and outscored Sully Buttes 20-9 in the final stanza to seal the win.

Kelli Fiegen and Maggie Malloy each netted 17 points to pace Parkston. Elizabeth Lamb scored 18 points to lead Sully Buttes. Kylee Lamb added 16 for the Chargers.
