RAPID CITY - Four area baseball players were named to the South Dakota High School Baseball Association's all-state team for Region 3.
Rapid City Central's Nick Tadlock was named to the first team. Tadlock is an outfielder for Central which finished as the Class A runner-up at state losing to Aberdeen in the final.
Tadlock hit .414 this season with 10 RBI and eight stolen bases.
Central's Eric Swenson, a catcher, and pitcher Mitch Jaeger were second-team selections. Swenson hit .452 with 14 hits and Jaeger had a 1.08 ERA this season with 16 strikeouts.
Rapid City West was represented on the all-state squad's second team by outfielder David Oberlitner. He hit .364 on the season.
