The Green Bay Packers released 20 players, placed three on injured reserve and traded for another player Saturday including former Black Hills State standout Zac Alcorn.
Alcorn, a tight end, was stuck behind Donald Lee, Bubba Franks and Clark Harris on the Packers' depth chart.
Alcorn attended Chadron High School in Chadron, Neb., and was a high school letterman in football, baseketball, and track&field as a discus thrower. After his high school career he went to Chadron State before transferring to Black Hills State where he was an NAIA All-American for the Yellow Jackets.
