RAPID CITY - Paige Osterloo of Rapid City Stevens continues to lead the Rapid City girls high school golf tournament after firing a 37 during Wednesday's round at the Golf Club of Red Rocks.
The Raiders finished at 172 for the day, with cross-town rival Rapid City Central in at 245. The Cobblers were led by Lindsey Evans' 55.
After two days of play, Osterloo leads with a 76, and the Raiders hold a 343-505 lead in team scores.
The tournament continues today at Hart Ranch and concludes Friday at Arrowhead Country Club.
The tournament is a final tune-up before next week's State Class AA girls tournament in Mitchell.
"This course was one we had never seen before today," said Central coach Jeremy Noyes of the Red Rocks course.
"We haven't seen the one at Mitchell either, so this was a good experience to get out of the way before state."
"We got rained on a little bit and the weather didn't cooperate very well," said Noyes.
"Our scores are coming down, not as much as we would like going into the state tournament, but we are improving."
