Softball: Jackets fall in two road games

DICKINSON, ND - Black Hills State dropped a pair of games on the road Tuesday afternoon to Dickinson State University in women's softball action.

The Yellow Jackets trailed 3-0 after the first inning and allowed eight runs in the third inning as the Blue Hawks went on to win Game 1, 14-1, in five innings.

Sara Turner went 1-for-2 for a double and one RBI for Black Hills State.

Dickinson State's Ashley Neufeld batted 4-for-4, with 2 RBI's, two doubles and three runs scored.

The Blue Hawks blanked the Yellow Jackets in Game 2, 8-0, also in five innings.

The Lady Yellow Jackets split games at home last week, defeating Dakota Wesleyan 10-3 in Game 1 and losing 10-6 in Game 2.

Black Hills State (1-3 overall) is in action today in Chadron with a doubleheader against the Eagles.
