MITCHELL - Rapid City Post 320 split a pair of games during American Legion baseball action Saturday.

The Stars beat Mitchell 3-2, before dropping a 4-3 game to Norfolk, Neb.

Brandon Kiewel threw a complete game in the win over Mitchell. He allowed two earned runs on five hits.

Zach Cimburek hit a solo home run for Post 320. George Ceremuga added two hits, and Jarrett Jensen and Levi Merchen added an RBI apiece.

Post 320 used a two-run fifth inning to take a 3-1 lead. Mitchell got a run in the bottom of the seventh.

In the Norfolk game, things were tied at 2-all after five innings, before the Nebraska team scored single runs in the top of the sixth and seventh innings to get the win.

Kyle Starkey threw a complete game but picked up the loss for Post 320. He gave up four runs, two of which were earned, on eight hits in seven innings.

Ceremuga, Merchen and Chris Lindemann each had two hits for Post 320. Merchen added two RBIs. Starkey added a double.

Post 320 (30-26) takes on Parkston and Scotland in Mitchell today.
