RAPID CITY - The Handcrafted A's downed the Trojans, 7-4, on Saturday to advance to the championship game of the city tournament.
The A's were paced by Garrett Rice's 3-for-4 effort at the plate to get the win which qualified them for the Class A state tournament which beings Friday in Rapid City.
The A's face the Angels - which also qualified for the state tournament - today in the championship game at McKeague Field at 4 p.m. The A's must beat the Angels twice to take the title in the double-elimination tournament.
