Mines staff to host basketball camp

RAPID CITY - The third annual South Dakota School of Mines basketball clinic will be Oct. 17 at the King Center in Rapid City.

The clinic will feature lectures from Hardrocker basketball staff Jason Henry and Eric Glen, along with Shawn Neary of Mile City Community College and Kiley Yates of South O'Brien High School in Iowa.

The clinic is designed to teach techniques to basketball teams using the 2007-08 Hardrocker men's team to demonstrate.

The clinic will start at 4 p.m. and last until 9:30 p.m. Door prizes will also be awarded throughout the event.

Pre-registration cost of the camp is $25 for the first coach and $15 for any additional coaches, prior to

Oct. 13. It will be $30 at the door.
