There were four new leaders at the Range Days Rodeo after Friday night's performances at the Central States Fairgrounds.

Red Lemmel's 84-point effort in the saddle bronc event lifted the Faith cowboy to the lead as he slipped past Chuck Schmidt's

83 that he posted on Thursday night.

Tyler Haugen wrestled away the lead from Rod Paschke as he posted a 3.8 second mark in the steer wrestling.

Miles Kobold and Doug Cox had a time of 5.8 seconds to take over the team roping lead. No one on Thursday had posted a time in the event.

Amy Holmes grabbed the barrel racing lead with a 17.18-second effort to knock first-day leader Melinda Mattson of Deadwood into fifth place in the event.

Ty Breuer out of Mandan, N.D., continued to lead in the bareback as his 83 made it through Friday's performance.

Taylor Cowan of Ft. Pierre and B.J. Schumacher of Hillsboro, Wisc. are still deadlocked atop of the bull riding as no cowboy Friday could better their matching score of 87 from the day before.

Highmore's Clay Cowan held onto his lead in the tie down roping event with his time of 9.4 seconds that he posted on Thursday.

The final performance of the Range Days Rodeo is today in Rapid City.
