DENVER - The rain that cost Rapid City Post 22 a couple of games during the week here followed them to Colorado as the hardhats played a total of three games on Friday in the Cherry Creek County Tournament.

Post 22 dropped the opening game of the day 6-3 to Grandview, Colo. before it rallied to beat the Slammers Grey squad 5-0 and Topeka, Kan., 9-8.

The games were shortened to five innings to compensate for the weather which wiped out Thursday's action.

Post 22 10-3 on the year, got wins from Sam Wolff and Kolton Emery. Emery is now

5-0 while Wolff grabbed his third win on the young season.

In the first game Post 22 took an early 2-0 lead, but Grandview scored four times in the bottom of the first to take the lead for good.

Dana Hill had two hits and Paul Gates drove in two runs for Rapid City.

Jarrett Jensen took the loss in the game, but he made up for it in the second game with a home run to help ensure the win.

Emery fanned five and allowed only one hit in the three inning win over the Slammers in the second game.

Brock Estes had three hits while Jordan Mette and Parker Sullivan added two apiece in Post's come-from-behind win over Topeka.
