Denver, Rapid City stock shows to collide in ’08
RAPID CITY -- When the Black Hills Stock Show & Rodeo wraps up this afternoon, next year will already be on the minds of several vendors who will face a logistical dilemma to get back to Rapid City in 2008.

Civic center addition offers ‘so much possibility’
RAPID CITY — Straining to be heard over the hoopla of Friday afternoon’s rodeo, Jim Sutton of Sutton Rodeos said the proposed addition to Rushmore Plaza Civic Center will come close to making the annual Black Hills Stock Show & Rodeo twice as big as it is now.
